QUILTING CLASSES

We offer a wide variety of classes from the beginner to advanced.

COMING THIS FALL ... Two New Block of the Month Programs.  Pine Needles - FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE, and ANTIQUE CHRISTMAS MEMORIES made with Nancy Halvorsen fabrics. 

Regular priced fabric purchased for classes will be discounted 15%,  excluding premade kits.

FAITH HOPE LOVE - with Jacki (Intermediate)
Starting in September.
An absolutely stunning quilt by McKenna Ryan. This is a block of the month project for ten months.

Antique Christmas Memories - with Lynda (Intermediate)

This Block of the Month can be pick up only as well.
This beautiful quilt will be a treasured heirloom for years to come.  You and your family will look forward to this quilt hanging on your wall as a Christmas tradition.

Winter Graphics Christmas Wallhanging- with Cathy (Intermediate)

Rainbow Forest - Lynda (Intermediate)
Dates:  TBA
Looking for something different.  This block of the month program features applique and wool felt.  The subtle colours of wool felt stand out against a background of solid black.  Very unusual but very effective.  We hope to have our sample ready by September.

Putting It Together - Sheila (Beginner)
DATE:  TBA
This class will begin by teaching you how to layer and baste your backing fabric, batting and top to prepare your quilt for either hand or machine quilting (your domestic machine). Then Sheila will teach lap quilting. Learn about needles, thimbles, thread and where to quilt.

Beginner's Quilting - with Sheila
Dates:  TBA
Make a  lap size quilt using three basic blocks. You will learn to cut and sew accurately and use a rotary cutter.  You must know how to sew and operate your own sewing machine, which should be in good working order as there is homework.  A rotary cutter, mat and ruler are a must for this class.
COST:  $50.00 plus supplies (pattern included)
